I revised the last chapter of my manuscript at the writers’ retreat at Outer Banks and read it to a very supportive and enthusiastic group of writers. They too have become fascinated by Katherine’s life and often share with me quotes and pictures they’ve found on Internet, and they read her stories for the first time and discover what a great writer she is. I am very pleased.

The last night of our retreat, I read the final chapter and then we go to see Avatar at a local movie theatre. I felt like an Avatar myself that evening and could hardly keep still in my seat as I cheered them on to victory in a battle against dark and evil forces.
